LIHEAP stands for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. LIHEAP provides Utility Assistance and Weatherization Services to eligible low-income households.
Utility Assistance may be applied as credit to the following:
- Electric/Gas accounts
- Propane accounts
- Wood/Oil costs
- Sub-metered (mobile homes) accounts
- Utilities included in rent
