LIHEAP offers emergency assistance to households at risk of having their utilities disconnected. Households with 48-hour or 15-day shut off notices and those that have been shut off (for less than 2 weeks).
If your utilities are disconnected or at risk of being disconnected, a copy of the disconnection notice is required as part of the documentation requirements.
